I have a big family and the deals plus the bulk is just unbelievable. Especially when shopping on a budget.
Is it my imagination or is the young staff getting lazier by the day, they want $15 per hour but they are giving me $5 per hour effort the store is going to hell with the new ownership, and I'm not the only one that feels that way. Also the Verizon kiosk sucks.
The store is well kept, clean, orderly, well stocked and the staff there are very nice and helpful. I am a member of Costco and joined BJ's because of where I moved to. They are about the same, but the staff at the BJ's in Olean make all the difference. Great store!
BJs is a pretty straightforward wholesale club. They have lots of food and basic household supplies, most sold in jumbo sizes or multi-packs. Per unit, it's very cheap. This is one of my regular shopping spots, I buy all of my non-perishable household goods here. It costs more money upfront, but you definitely save in the long run. Also, they have members only gas pumps that cheaper than pretty much everywhere else except the reservations.
I like that you renew every 1 1\2 years. I don't come here often cause of the distance
