Great food, great selection, and fair pricing for what in my opinion is an upper scale establishment. And best Graham cracker cream pie I have ever had. I live about an hour and a half away, but always make it a point to have a meal there a few times a year when I am in the area. It's a yearly tradition of mine and my wife to stop there when we head down to the Southern Tier for some of the fall festivities.
Excellent food and service. Prices were resonants for the quality and size of lunch. I will be back! Host seemed to know everyone. Ambiance is a country style without being over bearing. Only complaint and the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the back parking lot has a step between parking rows and is difficult to see. Low profile cars will have issues if they go over it.
We had oddball menu choices - I had the pork porterhouse and my date had liver & onions. Both were good. Nice family atmosphere. Good service. Martini was strong, good. It was presented differently. I poured the gin in to the glass myself. I was sad only one olive.
Whenever we are passing through Olean the Beef-N-batter is a must stop place. The beef is so delicious ,as is their German potato salad. The place has beautiful decor and the workers are all very friendly and helpful. If you love beef you will not be disappointed. They also have things other than beef on the menu but I can't imagine going there and not having their beef. The beef and their awesome rye rolls is what they are known for.
The people that work there are, really friendly I go in there a, few times a week. There good is awesome and the prices are great. I hope more people go in and try it. Love this place quick service
